I think both the photos give a good idea of the surface-it was old and falling apart, but still a blast to race on.

STU-N 16I really don't think I hit a cone on that last run. I was never very close to any, and Angela was watching and never saw any. I did see a worker picking one up from the previous car while I was running so maybe I got that one counted against me...oh well.

You had good times, especially compared to the Cobra. I beat a Z06 with my GTI in El Paso. Its amazing how much of a difference the right driver makes. Did the changing track seem to affect times?
It seemed to add a second to my times, I thought it made one of the turns a bit sharper. But if you also notice, I believe FTD was made right after the change.
Its funny, but at the last 2 auto-xs it seemed like I ran faster up to the third run and then its as if my tires are like "well thats all for today," and I loose a second or so on the rest of the runs. Could be my imagination I guess, but I have to stick with them for now because the truck needs new shoes a lot worse.
