We took Luna to the vet for her shots and checkup. Then we went and played in the river.
We thought she broke her tail somehow as it was floppy for the next few days, but it must have been her feeling down from the medicine.
These will probably be the last of the pictures from this camera as it went swimming shortly after this last one.

Tahoe
We took a trip to Lake Tahoe for our 4th anniversary. We stayed at Squaw Valley, the site of the 1960 winter Olympics. While there we went moonlight kayaking, hiking, swimming, tramming, biking, and eating.
Kayaking was the first thing we did when we got there. It was a sunset tour so we left with the sun up and paddled along the shoreline as the sun went down. The trip took us about 1.7 miles down the shore as the sunset and then we paddled back in the dark. None of the photos I took from it really came out, its hard to take a long exposure picture when the boat is moving up and down.
The place we stayed at was really nice and was full of shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, the bars made it really hard to sleep as drunks were constantly yelling at each other until 2-3 in the morning and the windows had to be open due to the lack of air conditioning (keep in mind it rarely gets hot there, but was when we went).
We took a drive around the lake and caught a couple of car shows while doing so. There also ended up being an autocross in the large parking lot next to the hotel while we were there.

They also had a tram that goes up to their High Camp (8200 ft), we received tickets for it with our hotel stay otherwise we would have passed due to the cost. Up at the top they had swimming, paintball, disc golf, hiking, roller rink, a restaurant, tennis and lots of hiking. We went swimming, the temperature at that altitude was really nice. They also had the Olympic museum up there.

In Memory of Nancy Jay Stevens
I had Nancy as my fourth grade teacher. She used to get upset at the whole class when kids were being kids and I was very afraid of her for at least the first several weeks of school. Mom and I talked to her and I quickly got over my fears and she went on to be one of the greatest teachers I ever had. She will be very missed.

We went and watched some of an off road race just outside of town
Then Angela and I took Luna back to the same area I off roaded in to see the sights that Angela had never seen.

And to Lake Sabrina up North in the Sierras.
That pretty much catches things up. We got the jetskis over to the lake this last weekend for the first time this year and had a blast with them. It was good to do something fun in the heat.

First post of the year
Well I thought I would wait until something was completely done to post, but I give up. We finally bought some new furniture. We went to the LA area and bought a sofa and love seat set, and also a bed with matching end tables (I'll post the bed when its assembled). Then a few weeks later, we saw an outdoor dining set and since it was on sale for 25% off and we had a coupon for another 30% off, we got it.
I also had my birthday of course, thank everyone for the gifts. Mom and Dad headed towards us and us towards them to meet in Flagstaff for a weekend of fun. We shopped, ate great food, went to a museum, and went to the Lowell Observatory where we got to take a close up look at the moon through their large telescope and check out their museum and such. The next day we drove down to Sedona and rented a Jeep, For the cost of one short tour for four we were able to rent a Rubicon Unlimited for half a day and easily had time to go on 3 different trails (Schnebly Hill Road, Soldier Pass Trail, and Broken Arrow).
All in all it was a fantastic time, and I hope we can do it again. Maybe go to the Grand Canyon too.
This was what I got when I got back home:

Christmas stuff
Even though we don't get to enjoy it over the holiday we decorated the house and got a real tree. The tree lights are two color LED with a remote to change the colors.
